Our Story

Manaza Recycling began with just two employees operating out of a township garage, collecting and reselling recyclable materials. As demand grew, they expanded operations to include sorting and resale from a landfill site. Now, in collaboration with Sasol, eThekwini Municipality, and other partners, Manaza Recycling has evolved into a fully operational drop-off and buy-back center with a team of seven permanent employees and six part-time staff. Their mission is to minimize waste by collecting, processing, and repurposing materials, thereby reducing the burden on landfills, oceans, rivers, and communities.
